INGREDIENTS
3 oz. butter
3 oz. icing sugar
4 oz. self rising flour (sifted)
1 tbs. cocoa powder (sifted)
6 oz. dates (chopped)
2 oz. chopped walnuts
1 to 1/2 tbs. milk
1 can of whipping cream
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat over to 375 degrees and lightly oil baking sheet
Cream the butter and sugar together until soft and fluffy
Stir in flour and cocoa powder
Stir in chopped dates, chopped walnuts and enough milk to
form a stiff mixture
place in small teaspoonfuls on baking sheet, leaving a
space in between, to allow for spreading during baking.
Bake for 15 to 20 mins. until set
Allow to cool for 2 mins. before transferring to cooling
rack
Leave to cool, then sandwich together with whipping cream
