INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tbs. fresh crushed garlic
1 tsp. of honey
London Broil or Flank Steak ( roughly 8 to 12 oz.)
DIRECTIONS FOR MARINADE:
Stir together in shallow baking dish all of the above ingredients
Place meat in dish coating both sides and refrigerate tightly covered ( for at least 6 hrs. or overnight. Turning at least once)
Remove meat from refrigeration after marinating and allow to come to room temperature for at least 30 to 45 mins. before cooking
Preheat grill until very hot
Drain marinade from baking dish
Cook for 4 mins on each side of steak for medium rare. 6 mins. each side for medium
Remove from grill, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for about 4 mins.
Slice across the grain and serve immediately
