INGREDIENTS 2 cups lentils
1 cup finely chopped shallots
2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. turmeric
8 cups of water
2 tsp. salt
DIRECTIONS
Place lentils, shallots, curry powder and turmeric into a sauce pan. Add 8 cups of water and 2 tsp. of salt
Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 mins. until tender.
Place in food processor and process until mixture is rough looking in texture
The mixture can then be run through a sieve if desired
