INGREDIENTS
1 oz. unsalted butter
1 oz. sugar
1 tbs. of golden syrup (or maple syrup)
1 oz. plain flour (sifted)
1 tbs. of cocoa powder (sifted)
1 1/2 oz. flaked almonds
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Line two baking sheets with non-stick baking paper
Heat butter, sugar, and syrup in a pan with gentle heat
until butter melts
Remove from heat and add flour, cocoa powder, almonds, and
mix lightly
Place teaspoon-sized batch on baking sheet
Bake for 8-10 mins. until set
Remove from oven and let stand on cooling rack for 2 mins.
Leave until completely cool before serving
To Fill the Crisps
Mould round the bases of small egg
cups and leave until cool and leave until cool.
Fill with
shipped cream and fresh fruit.
Preferable to eat within 3
hours of filling
