INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cups of coarsely chopped toasted black walnuts ( 350 degrees for 5 mins)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
DIRECTIONS
Place cracker crumbs and walnuts in a medium-sized bowl
Slowly add condensed milk and a pinch of salt
Mix with a wooden spoon ( mixture should be very gooey )
Pack into an 8" square pan or into a 9 1/2" round pan with removable bottom
* Bottom should be coated with non-stick cooking spray OR lined with parchment paper
Wet hands and smooth dough on top
Bake for 30 to 35 mins.
Let cool
Wrap left-over remaining dough. Can be refrigerated and kept for approx. 3 weeks.
* Can add freshly grated orange zest or cup of chocolate chips
Yogurt coated raisins can also be added to the batter prior to baking
Serve with a nice big glass of cold milk
