INGREDIENTS Place sugar in an enamel pot
Cook over medium heat until it is caramelized
Remove from heat when the sugar has become a light brown liquid
Pour beer SLOWLY into the pot ( mixture will bubble and foam)
Mix well with a wooden spoon until sugar has dissolved
Place flour in an electric mixer bowl ( cuisinart) and add a pinch of salt
Begin mixing and slowly adding the liquid mixture.
Mix until everything is mixed together
Place dough in a non-stick 9 " loaf pan
Bake for 55 to 60 mins.
Bread should be done when a toothpick inserted in middle has come out "clean"
Remove bread from oven and let cool on a rack
